Learning how to ride the bike is the newest thing I want to tick off my list. (...you know.. of the things to do before you get to 30). This baby in the background is the husband's second love. And it's amusing to see how he takes care of it. And when he rides her, I think he feels the same way that I do when I pull out a cherished pair of shoes from my closet. Like these ones that I wore, out on a ride about town.
Bike rides are something to look forward to, come summer... it's just too cool to zip through traffic jams, wind blowing in your hair (god knows what they'll look like when you get off the bike - but we live for the moment!), and the power of the machine just flowing through your body.
So here's to celebrating, all things sun and summer. A little mixing of the prints that make one happy in the heat - polkas and flowers. Hair tied up, because it's too hot for anything else. And why not borrow a huge sized aviator watch from his dresser..... just because we're putting the spotlight on the boys in our lives, and their toys.
But ladies, why is it that he likes me better, looking like this?
Rather than when I'm wearing my favourite dress, and necklace, and cute heels.
