Welcome to 2013 you guys!
This winter I've been noticing how the sweater has really been brought centre-stage as far as it's role in fashion is concerned. So while earlier it was something to be hidden under coats and scarves, now it's used as a canvas to show funky accessories, quirky prints, and adept layering.
When it was time to go out to a formal (kind of) dinner, I was in the mood to really dress up... to wear something sparkly but with a little twist.
But before I tell you more, I must warn you...THIS is not a skirt... it's a dress. And a backless one at that.
Taking a cue from the above mentioned sweater trend (and in an effort to stay as warm as possible!) I put on this sweater on top of my maxi dress. But there's a catch here. I wore the sweater front-side-back or up-side-down... call it what you want.
So the cowl on the front, became a cowl on the back, to amply glorify my tattoo, and my back. The rest, as they say was written in new year's eve history.
I felt like a Disney princess in this whimsical outfit! And it was so practical, since it kept me warm.

Wow again! i know I should be saying something about the dress(which is mind blowing of course) or the clever way n which you have worn the sweater and all. But let me be spontaneous today. Let me say what I have forgotten to say everytime. Well, I love the way you write Japna! Its absolutely amazing the way you talk about everything...Kudos for that. Wish I could write like that...
